“Great base to explore. Remember to take: extra towels, soap, shower products, washing up liquid & washing machine products. Clean & tidy accommodation. Beds are not particularly comfy, but fine for a couple of nights. TVs in all rooms which was perfect for the children. Hot tub was a welcome treat after lots of walking.”
“What a fantastic holiday park! We stayed in Lake View 9 and the name really doesn’t do it justice — the view is absolutely stunning. Waking up to a picturesque lake each morning was incredible, and having a hot tub overlooking it all was the perfect bonus. The lodge itself was lovely, and well‑equipped, with everything we needed. The master bedroom having an ensuite was a nice touch, and the WIFI was spot on too. The staff were genuinely welcoming from the moment we arrived. Check‑in was easy, and they were always happy to answer any questions we had. As far as I’m aware, fishing is free for guests, which is brilliant. I went early in the mornings — mostly carp in there, and they absolutely love bread… maybe a bit too much If we had to mention anything that could be improved, 1, oven gloves are needed 2, more dishwasher tablets 1 was provided. 3, the blinds sag 4, the shower heads could do with a little limescale remover, but honestly it’s nothing major. Our opinion: Both my wife and I found the mattresses a bit on the firm side, but that’s just personal preference and not really something that can be helped. A huge thank you to all the lovely staff — we can’t wait to come back again, hopefully with the rest of the family next time.”
“Pros: Small and calm site with lovely walks in the woods. It was very convenient to have EV charging on site. We stayed in a lakeside lodge, which was clean and modern with a nice outlook. Decent amount of kitchenware provided and we enjoyed the hot tub. Cons: Beds were a bit hard and the accommodation lacked hooks to hang towels and coats. No hairdryer or hand soap provided. Also felt the welcome could be improved - there was no information provided in the accommodation. In all we enjoyed our short stay, but it could be improved with small touches.”
